What is Hagstone?

What is a Hagstone?

Hagstones are formed on seashores, by the action of small stones moving repeatedly against larger ones.

Think of it – the tide comes in, the tide goes out. Stones move and shift with the tide. Over and over again. Sound familiar? Kind of like the ebb and flow of running your own business, right?

Well, this repeated action of stone against stone CREATES a hagstone – a rock with a hole worn through the middle.

Why a Hagstone?

Because they are PROOF of the power of patience and perseverance. They are an inspiration for entrepreneurs to keep going. To accomplish the big things by breaking them down into small actions and then being CONSISTENT with getting them done. This business blog is for service business owners. Giving you information, inspiration, and motivation to keep moving towards your goals. Any speed is ok. Just. Keep. Going.

About The Hagstone Blog Rebecca Page-Chapman

I’m Rebecca Page-Chapman. Here on The Hagstone Blog, I share insights, tips, guides, and thoughts on being an entrepreneur.

An avid reader as a child, a favourite book was The Toothpaste Millionaire. This inspired me to launch marketing campaign to sell all my Archie comics at a yard sale. (Yes, I sold them all.)

Later, I started a company from a corner of my basement, with a toddler at my feet. I  grew my concept to a 7-figure franchise system operating in 3 Canadian cities.

Now as a business coach and accountability partner, I help entrepreneurs reach their business goals.

Though now based in the UK, I slow travel with my laptop and headset to warm places with strong Wifi. I love working from anywhere to give entrepreneurs support, guidance, and affirmation, and inspiration.
